The Franchisee group owns multi territory development rights and is set to add BFT locations in Beverly Hills and other neighboring West Los Angeles territories.
The Franchise group is looking for a Head Coach for its first upcoming studio in West Hollywood which is in presale.
Position Description:
This is an exciting opportunity for the right person who is keen on getting in from the start and helping us build this studio and others from the ground up.
Since the West Hollywood studio is in presale, our Head Coach is expected to be willing to use their coaching experience to sell founding memberships and aid the grassroots outreach efforts such as lead capture and conversion during regular tabling events. They will be paid commission on membership sales.
They are also expected to lead community workouts to keep our members active and attract more members. Once the studio opens, the Head Coach will oversee all studio coaches, own all aspects of the member training experience and work closely with the franchise owner and studio manager to deliver the studio’s member growth and profitability aspirations.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
• During presale, help sell founding memberships by reaching out to leads over the phone and through grassroots events.
• Help the General Manager to build B2B partnerships and organize member events to increase community engagement.
• Before studio opens, lead community workouts in the park and help close founding memberships.
• Deliver pre-designed sessions/workouts to groups of up to 36 clients
• Energize and motivate clients throughout class
• Build BFT class attendance and retain current clientele
• Teach proper technique to ensure clients have a safe and positive experience
• Responsible for recruiting, hiring, training and developing coaches
• Have strong understanding of the different BFT sessions, as well as distinguishing features between each
• Handle member concerns when applicable
• Assist sales associates and General Manager with studio tour and sales as needed
• Set up equipment and explain session intention and flow for prospects and new clients
• Maintain strong social media presence to increase class following
Qualifications:
• 4-year degree (in a related field) and/or a nationally recognized PT certification (e.g., NSCA, ACE, NASM).
• Coaching experience in group fitness environment and/or personal training role.
• Experience selling boutique fitness memberships, presale experience is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Love of boutique fitness is a must – passion for strength training is a plus
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to create a high energy, positive environment that welcomes all people
• Fantastic communication that exudes energy AND empathy
• Must love connecting with people and have passion for helping them achieve goals
• Passion for having fun daily and making every customer excited to train with BFT
• Must exude charisma & thrive in a group environment
• Must possess and maintain current CPR/AED certification
• Exhibit and satisfy all requirements that exist for a BFT coach.
Compensation and benefits:
• Competitive coaching session pay starting from $35/hour and up depending on class utilization.
• Competitive hourly pay for sales duties during pre-sale from $21/hour and up plus commission for sales.
• Performance based bonuses and incentives.
