Body Fit Training (BFT) is a global boutique fitness brand with 300 locations worldwide delivering science-based 50 minute strength and conditioning training in a high-energy group environment. Our newest franchise studio is open now in West Hollywood. We are growing quickly and building a strong presence in the local community.
Our ownership group holds multi-territory franchise rights and plans to open additional studios in nearby West LA communities. This creates strong opportunities for growth into full-time roles, leadership positions, and future studio openings.
We’re focused on helping more people discover BFT and experience their first class with us.
About the role
We’re looking for a high-energy, people-loving fitness sales professional to help grow the top of our lead funnel and bring new faces into our newly opened 3,300 sq ft state of art studio.
If you love talking to people, being out in the community, and turning conversations into booked intro sessions, this role was made for you.
This position starts part-time with the ability to grow into full-time as the studio grows.
Your primary mission: Generate leads and book first visits.
What you’ll be responsible for
You’ll spend a large portion of your time out in the community, building relationships and creating excitement about the studio.
Key responsibilities:
• Run regular community pop-ups and tabling events with local business partners
• Set up spin wheels, giveaways and promotional materials to attract leads
• Start conversations, collect contact details and information about fitness goals from prospects
• Invite prospects to book their First Session FREE
• Be present at the studio to convert these prospects into members after their session as needed
• Proactively identify and secure new locations for outreach and tabling
• Build and maintain local business partnerships
• Call, text and follow up with leads to book first visits
• Support other in-studio sales and front desk activities as needed
This is a field + sales role with a strong focus on lead generation and community outreach.
This role is perfect for someone who
• Has experience selling fitness memberships or boutique gym services
• Loves approaching and talking to new people in public settings
• Is confident, outgoing, and able to connect with people to understand their fitness goals
• Enjoys working outside the studio and in the local community
• Is goal-driven and motivated by commission
• Wants to grow into a larger role as the studio expands
Requirements
• Previous experience in boutique fitness sales (required)
• Comfortable with grassroots marketing / community outreach
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work evenings and weekends
• Comfortable making outbound calls and follow-ups
• Closing memberships after trials and bookings
• Passion for fitness and helping people get started
Compensation & growth
• $25/hour base pay
• 10% commission on membership sales
